Photos from a late afternoon walk in the woods near Tarsdorf in Austria, at Huckinger See. This was one of my first visits to the place with the camera, equipped only with a 50mm prime lens.
For the archive, I’ve re-evaluated and re-processed the images. Albeit raw and unpolished, I guess they nicely show what attracts me and my photographic eye in nature. Also – summer evenings in Germany are nice – there’s plenty of light! The last photo of the set was made at 7:40pm, hand-held. Today, I’d use a tripod no matter what, but back then, I was pretty clueless, obviously. One day I want to visit this lovely spot again.
If you like these photos, please have a look at the portfolio gallery of Huckinger See as well – it contains a selection of the best photos I’ve made there over the years.
