Photos from a walk in the woods of Weilhartsforst near Wanghausen in Austria. An old forest road leads to a small chapel built over a well called “Heilbrünnl” (“healing well”). Its water is said to have a positive effect on the eyes. I can’t really say anything about that, but it was one of the favorite nearby destinations for walking the dog. Oh and, the water is cold and clear and tastes good. :)
All photos were made with a 50mm/f1.8 prime lens, with the aperture wide open to have a narrow depth of field. On the camera I was using (a Nikon D70s), that focal length equals the field of view of a 75mm lens (ie. slight portrait tele), so I focused on the details.
