Aschauer Klamm (Aschau gorge) is a bit of a “well known secret” in a corner of the Bavarian alps near Oberjettenberg, very close to the border of Austria – if you continue to hike along the gorge of the creek (Auschauer Bach, Aschau Creek) you’ll actually reach Austria eventually.
Since it was a rather bright and sunny day I used my telezoom lens to focus on the details of rocks and water in the gorge that were in the shade, avoiding harsh sunlight and glare. This resulted in a set of more or less abstract and painterly photos. I hope you like them!
