One of the blessings of living in Southern California is that nature is very much alive and colorful in January (especially in the irrigated fake world of the suburbs, of course…) – unlike Germany, where everything is covered in snow at best, but more likely to be just brown, grey, dry and frozen… here are some splashes of color and light for my friends in Germany. Just some flowers & plants from a walk around the neighborhood with the macro lens.
