I visited Santa Ysabel Open Space Preserve again yesterday afternoon. It is really one of my favorite places – the rolling hills with Engelmann and Coast Live Oaks everywhere are a treat for the eye. After the long and dry summer, the grass is all dry and of a very light, pale beige – like hay. Cattle are grazing there, and after sunset, deer come out of hiding too. Very peaceful and beautiful.
For more black & white trees, also have a look at my “Arbres Monochromatique” gallery.
