Three photos from the Middle Fork Palm Wash slot canyon near the old Calcite Mine. I went a little (ahem) overboard with the processing of the first set of photos from that slot canyon, and it’s hard to resist the temptation to just bring out all the colors that are waiting in there. I tried to be a good boy and behave this time. ;-)
My favorite is the last image in this set, “Curved Walls 3” – I love how it transports the feeling of the narrow and dark canyon, with the light coming in from the top. More dramatic than it actually is in this slot, but maybe quite adequate for people who feel claustrophobia more easily than me.
