Here’s the “companion” post with a couple more photos, from the Hollenbeck Canyon loop hike.
I try to avoid mixing black & white and color photos, and when I have a selection like this I prefer spreading them out into separate posts. This is probably bad practice with regards to search engine optimization and creating “key content” but the internet would be a pretty boring and sad place if we’d cater everything we put online to SEO-friendliness and the mercy and requirements of search engines.
I do my best to provide descriptive captions and “alt text” to help the search engines determine the content of my photos, together with the filenames, but I trust that we can also let the search engines develop smarter algorithms. Google updates their algorithms all the time! (and for what it’s worth, the real “key content” here would probably be my Hollenbeck Canyon archive page, anyway). Thanks for reading! You can stay up to date with my blogposts and subscribe via email (the subscription form opens in a new browser window/tab). It's easy as pie! :-)
