Coastal Forest (6 photos)

The coastal forest of the pacific northwest is wet and cool, which furthers the growth of an abundance of moss, lichen, ferns. Some of these trees are almost padded with moss all over. In the dim light of an overcast, rainy day, an almost eerie appearance. I made these photos at Ecola State Park, just north of Cannon Beach in Oregon.
