It’s cold

It’s unusually cold in San Diego at the moment – during my morning walks with Toni I even saw some hoarfrost. For as long as I lived here now, we never used the heater in December, the coldest months were always January and/or February. So here’s a cold winter photo that fits the mood – before it gets warmer again, by the end of the week, hopefully. ;)

Frozen Sand — December afternoon walk along the Salzach river near Hochburg-Ach, Innviertel, Austria.

I made this photo in December 2009 during a walk along the Austrian side of the Salzach river, near Burghausen in Germany, where I used to live. Shuwen visited me for Christmas, before I moved to Southern California and we got married. She has just started her own photo blog on WordPress.com – thanks for looking. :)
