My photo of the month for October 2014 is obviously from our October stay in the Eastern Sierra, and from one of the few few days where we actually had beautiful clouds and interesting weather. It was one of these “golden” moments: the clouds burst over crater mountain, and at the same time beams of the low sun to the west are breaking through the clouds, illuminating the rain shower. Simply perfect.
I made this photo from the Mono Lake Vista point near Conway Summit along Highway 395, between Lee Vining and Bridgeport – yes, that’s from the same spot as the image in one of the previous posts, but it was made on a different day. I just couldn’t help and stop there again when we drove along again. I already mentioned how fascinating the whole Mono Basin area is.
As announced last month, the photo of the month is now also the promo of the month – a total of three 36×24″ stretched canvas prints of this image are available at a promotional price of only $125 (plus tax & shipping) – but only for the next five days (or as soon as all three prints are sold). Consider decorating your home or office with my art – there won’t be another chance to buy at this price.
Stay tuned for more aspen & fall color photos from our trip! :-)Thanks for reading! You can stay up to date with my blogposts and subscribe via email (the subscription form opens in a new browser window/tab). It's easy as pie! :-)
