The black & white photo yield from my two Point Lobos visits is a little better – but still, with a place that is so rich in “photographic history” it is somewhat difficult to look at one’s own photos and feel satisfied with the results. Nevertheless, here are five images that I think are good enough to show in a blog post. :)
My personal favorite is the “Old Veteran” photo – an ancient Cypress tree that has been carbon-dated to be about 1000 years old. I realize it’s a very busy and complex frame, I’ve looked at it countless times now and definitely find it a worthy addition to my black & whites trees portfolio, “Arbres Monochromatique.” (…remember the first word: complex;-)
