After Saturday’s unusual rain and thunderstorms (thanks to the remnant moisture from tropical hurricane Dolores) we headed out to the beach in the evening. With such weather, you never know – the sunset could be awesome, or a bust.
Well, it was mostly a bust – too many clouds out over the ocean blocked the sun. Only a few clouds got lit up a little bit. I went for my “usual” inspection of the tide pools at the southern end of Cardiff State Beach. Conditions were nice, the surf was gentle and the tide was coming in – only the tide pools are almost non-existent now, because so much of them is buried under sand.
Without colors in the sky I went for a warm, high-key like look and I quite like how the photos came out. I hope you agree. :)
