As you already know from my odd pick for the photo of month of November, there wasn’t much time to process new photos (I still have quite a backlog, including the many images that I made during my September visit to Algodones Dunes) or add more archive posts to the blog so this is a really short update for my email subscribers:
Blog Archive Additions
- Desert: Badlands Sunset (November 2011)
- Austria: Cold River Walk (December 2009)
- Back Country: Santa Ysabel East (March 2011)
Right now we’re doing some remodeling in the house (or rather, we’re having it done by a wonderful handyman that I found by pure chance) and we’re hoping to have a new kitchen and a more complete home in about two weeks. My photographic output will hopefully increase again then!
And here is a photo of Cormorants at Lake Hodges. The way the look and pose always amuses me. I know it’s foolish to try and apply human criteria to animals, but they do look somewhat proud and arrogant when they turn their heads to the side and raise their beaks, don’t they? :-)
See you around, and don’t let the pre-holiday madness get to you. ;-)
Stay up to date with my blogposts and subscribe via email. It’s easy and you’ll never receive more than one post per day.
