I (finally) hiked Whale Peak in Anza Borrego Desert State Park with two friends yesterday. The views at the summit are absolutely astonishing and we had fantastic conditions with beautiful clouds all around.
This 270° iPhone panorama photo spans views from Borrego Springs (far left) along the Santa Rosa Mountains, across the Salton Sea to Carrizo Mountain and the Coyote Mountains Wilderness, and all the way to the Pacific Crest / Laguna Mountains.
Position your mouse pointer over the image and you can scroll left and right.

I have many more (non-cellphone, obviously) photos with views from this spectacular location. Coming to this blog soon. Stay tuned! :)
