A morning at Torrey Pines

I’ve been up early yesterday morning and headed out to Torrey Pines State Preserve and State Beach, wanting to take advantage of the marine layer (that is far more persistent at the coast than it is only 20 minutes inland, where we live).

It wasn’t that low and thick however, so my take on Broken Hill in fog still has to wait – the conditions were nice for some long exposures (in the range of 1-2 minutes) at the beach though, where high tide was beneficial as well:

  1. Beautiful work. Wish we had better rocks up here in OC, I’ve been wanting to take advantage of the extremely heavy fog we’ve had the past few days but can’t find an inspiring location.
