Three “leftover” photos from the January hike in the Coyote Mountains Wilderness, as we wandered through the badlands. I guess there’s more than just one way to get lost in the badlands – we may physically wander, but also lose ourselves in the infinite details and visual wonders the place has to offer.
It’s these odds and ends and that make the desert so appealing to me: behind every corner or the turn of a wash in the mud hills waits another little curious thing or oddity that will astonish and amaze, if you’re only willing to look at the details.
