Here’s a quick follow-up to yesterday’s post, where I mentioned the various sequences that I photographed: you guessed it, this is one of them! At 8:30 in the morning, the waves were fully lit by the sun, and I love how the wave’s white top reflects on it itself!
Small Set
These small sets are comprised of images that are meant to be viewed together. Though some may have a singular visual appearance that may qualify them as a triptych, quadtych etc., that is not necessarily a criterion. It’s simply that together, these photos are more than the sum or their parts, as the saying goes. I hope you can see that too, and enjoy it.
Some of these are available as ready-made collages (as a single print) in my print-on-demand store, in the Collages Print Gallery. If that looks interesting but you’re looking for a different arrangement of frames, or can’t find what you’re looking for, please contact me and I’ll be glad to help.
Tide Pool Details Triptych
The first blog post of 2023 has the last photos I made in 2022 — in the morning of December 31st, we went for a walk at the beach. It was drizzly and overcast and I didn’t bring the big camera, but as usual, once there some things were too intriguing to not make a photo of them.
Fantastic Lava Beds Triptych
I guess at first sight, this is a pretty strange title for a blog post, but rest assured that I’m not actually that full of myself — whether the triptych is truly fantastic is not for me to say! 😅 It is made from detail photos of the Fantastic Lava Beds though, which we saw when we hiked Cinder Cone. :)
Boulders & Buckwheat
It feels like there’s always time for some Southern California “summertime hues”, and I’m still collecting images for a portfolio themed around that topic and its colors and subjects. So far however, it doesn’t look as coherent as I’d like to, so perhaps more images are needed.
Three Views of Water
This triptych of Staubfall and Fischbach came together as I’m working on “cleaning out the vaults” of 2008.
