Six photos from the Middle Fork Palm Wash slot canyon near the old Calcite Mine. These are from two separate visits in January (first three photos) and February, but they go along together so well that I’m presenting them in a single post.
My favorite is the last image in this set, “Curved Walls 3” – I love how it transports the feeling of the narrow and dark canyon, with the light coming in from the top. More dramatic than it actually is in this slot, but maybe quite adequate for people who feel claustrophobia more easily than me.subscribe via email (the subscription form opens in a new browser window/tab). It's easy as pie! :-)
