Huckinger See, Early December (11 photos)

Afternoon walk in the cold, damp and dark forest around the Hucking Lakes (Huckinger Seen). Everything was dripping wet as a dusting of early snow was slowly melting in warmer daytime temperatures – and as sunset grew closer and it got colder again, the fog rose in the forest and from the waters. It was spooky and enchanting at the same time.
