Kafkaesque – of, relating to, or suggestive of Franz Kafka or his writings; especially: having a nightmarishly complex, bizarre, or illogical quality.

Two abstract & close-up extractions of branches and twigs of oaks and Poison-oak at Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve, made with a telephoto lens. Nightmarish perhaps because there’s so much bare Poison-oak in there that is hard to identify, but will cause the allergic reaction nevertheless when you touch it and get the smallest amount of its sap onto your skin. :-}
