A storm front approaching San Diego in May is not the most usual thing – but as summer is swiftly approaching, and threatening the photographic community with endless days of clear blue skies, we headed out to Torrey Pines State Preserve when the weather forecast predicted clouds and rain.
We were of course hoping to get some nice photos of a sunset with clouds – but while no sunset would happen as the storm clouds rolled in, we were treated with this beautiful light show of rays breaking through the clouds, and dancing on the water. It was mesmerizing, and all it took was to be there. :)
It didn’t rain while we were there (no complaints, ahem) and by the time we had reached Broken Hill it was over, but the clouds still provided a nice and dramatic backdrop:subscribe via email (the subscription form opens in a new browser window/tab). It's easy as pie! :-)
