Mono Lake: Paoha Island Panorama

A panorama of Mono Lake’s Paoha Island, made from the vista point near Tioga Gas Mart/Whoa Nellie Deli in September 2015 during my four days of Yosemite hiking.

I’ve never shown this before for lack of a nicer way to present panorama images on the site*. This panorama is stitched from seven horizontal images at 300mm focal length (the longest I have, so there was no point going vertical), it’s total resolution is about 25100 x 3300 pixels, ie. ~83 megapixels. You can watch the image scroll below, or click & drag with your mouse over it to move left/right manually:

Alternatively, for mobile/small screen devices, click here to open the original file directly (~6000×800 pixels)
