Here are a few more photos from Daley Ranch in spring, made during an afternoon hike with Shuwen, at the end of February. Obviously, we wanted to see the wonderful bloom of Ceanothus tomentosus again. Conditions were quite nice!
I’m tempted to go back to see if it’s still going. Temperatures were low enough since we went, there were still quite a few unopened buds on the shrubs, and we’re having more rain right now too…
