We began the second day of our Sierra visit with a morning walk at McGee Creek. Right at the trailhead the sun was shining through the leaves of cottonwood and aspens so nicely that we spent quite a while there making photos. We hiked a little further up into the valley but the open trail and blazing sun didn’t really motivate us to continue our hike. Maybe another day…
