Desert outing after Thanksgiving, with Shuwen, our friend Stephanie, and Toni of course. We stopped at Fonts Point, hiked into the beautiful Middle Fork Palm Wash West Slot Canyon (no kidding – that’s how it is labeled on Google Maps!) and then continued to the Salton Sea’s Red Hill Marina, to see the famous dead trees.
