Multiple Exposures are a fun way to get a fresh and maybe a little more artistic take on otherwise perhaps rather familiar/ordinary subjects – don’t have to limit it to star trails… :) these little plants are called Cuckoo Flowers and they were swaying in a fresh breeze in May.

Multiple exposures are also pretty cool if you can’t get exposure times that are slow enough to blur water or other movement, like in bright daylight when you forgot your “big stopper” ND filter, can’t do “bulb” mode because you forgot your cable release, etc. etc. – just make a series of exposures from the tripod, and combine them into a multiple exposure later, at home.
