The Summer is somewhat unusual this year – after a heat wave in June we’re blessed with overcast days, even rain or at least some drizzle, in July. Mornings are overcast and the marine layer is quite persistent at the coast. Once more, I was out with Joseph Smith and we headed to the Point Loma tidepools as early as possible (the area opens at 9am) to take advantage of the conditions, doing some long exposure work and beating the crowds. It was quite a productive morning.
