Bavaria’s Nationalpark Berchtesgaden is Germany’s only national park located in the Alps. It is home to a number of iconic and unique landmarks, like Mount Watzmann, second highest mountain of Germany; Wimbachgries with it’s gravel streams and the Wimbach creek gorge; the idyllic Hintersee at the mouth of Klausbachtal, Ramsau; the tourism magnet of Königssee; Röthbachfall as the tallest waterfall in Germany, and many mountains and meadows all around that invite hikers and climbers alike.
I’ve hiked the area quite a number of times with the camera, and this gallery shows some of my favorite images and serves to preserve some personal memories as well. I hope you like it.
