After the very wet winter of 2010/2011 (my first winter in Southern California actually), the flow of rivers and creeks in San Diego’s back country was incredibly strong. Cedar Creek Falls, often a mere trickle over wet rocks in late Summer and Fall, was roaring loudly. The pool below the waterfall overflowed and partially submerged portions of the trail that leads there.
