The Xi Tou forest recreation area in Taiwan has a “skywalk” – on the sloping hillside there’s a level walkway all the way out into the treetops. At it’s highest point it’s ~25m (70ft.) above the forest floor, allowing spectacular and unusual views. During our visit we were also treated with dense fog moving right into the forest, creating a quite magical ambiance. How many times can you see a forest from above? It was truly special.
