Santa Margarita Oaks (3 photos)

Typical for the somewhat sheltered and wet canyons along streams, oaks and sycamores grow there and form a beautiful riparian jungle (together with an abundance of Poison-oak of course).

I made these photos on a docent-led hike at the Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve last Sunday – the reserve is not open to the public but they organize these docent-led hikes during the cooler months of the year.
