Tabletop Reef in Broad Daylight (3 photos)

Another low tide visit to Cardiff and Tabletop Reef, this time in the early afternoon with the intent to make some long exposures in broad daylight. I used 10-stop and 6-stop filters for that. The clouds made it possible to get one really long exposure (the first image, ~90 seconds) when the sun was completely blocked.

The biggest difficulty probably was to work around having the sun in the frame. Variations of my usual compositions didn’t work because I’d always have the sun directly in the frame. In that regard, it was a good exercise. :)
