During our vacation/family visit in Germany, we did a day-trip to Colmar, a charming little town in France, which lies just across the border to the west of Baden-Württemberg.
City
Colmar: Quartier Centre
Photographic impressions from a walk around Colmar’s Quartier Centre in Alsace, France.
Convention Center
I was in the area of San Diego’s harbor/embarcadero one morning after taking a friend to the airport. I met with my friend Joseph once more, and we walked around with the cameras a little bit, ending up at the San Diego Convention Center. There was no major event going on, so the big hall was empty except for some tables and clerks passing through.
Night Time Impressions of San Diego
While I do not regularly photograph cityscapes, I do have a couple of night time impressions of San Diego that I like enough to share them. The city’s skyline from Coronado Island is surely the most popular view (fourth image).
November Morning Walk at Wöhrsee
Impressions from a November morning walk at Burghausen’s city lake, Wöhrsee. The lake is actually an old arm of the Salzach River that was left when the river changed its course.
Zürich, rather random
Some rather random photographic impressions from a 2-day visit to Zürich, following an invitation from Google, who were looking for feedback from the top contributors in their German language help forums. I happened to be one of them, for their Picasa photo management software, and Picasa Web Albums online photo sharing service.
