I’m continuing with the (photo) stories from my Germany trip in 2019. In my previous post from the trip I described how, in the late morning of my second day at Reiter Alpe, I had given up on an attempt to hike Wagendrischlhorn, due to inclement weather (story: Reiter Alpe in the rain), and the bloopers with wet clothes that followed.
Going through some old photos that I made on a vacation in Corfu, Greece in October 2007 I discovered some detail photos and close-ups. They’re just too nice, funny, odd and cute to not group them together and show them.
I made these photos during a hike in late October 2008. When I recently browsed through these older folders, looking for a specific image, I noticed that I had two sets of two images each, made from the same position, with considerable overlap. Back then, it never occurred to me to stitch them together – which is quite obviously what I did now.
I’m a bit in photographic hibernation I guess. Ever since we returned from Germany I haven’t really touched the camera, and didn’t add images to the website either (which is why my monthly update with the summary of gallery activity and such is missing for the second month in a row now).
