The forth gallery in my “Floral Meditations” series, with 15 more photos of flowers and inflorescences from 2018, is mostly the result of catching up with my backlog of pictures to evaluate and process. The newest photo in the gallery below is from June. I previously shared these photos on social media as I added them to my website archives; this gallery puts them all together for your enjoyment. :-)
Floral Meditations
This is the archive page for the “Floral Meditations” series of flower and plant photos from 2018. Each entry below contains a gallery with 15 close-up/macro photographs. If you like these, please take a look at the similar series “Signs of Life” from 2019.
Floral Meditations 2018/3
Here are 15 more photos of flowers and inflorescences, made in the last few days, weeks and months, while spring lasts in Southern California. I shared these photos individually on social media as I added them to the site – now it’s time to put them together into another gallery for my “Floral Meditations” series (and this time, I checked the spelling of the word “meditations” multiple times!;-).
Floral Meditations 2018/2
In my first “Floral Meditations” post I mentioned how getting lost in the moment while photographing wildflowers is like a meditation. I think it’s this “being in the moment” that makes photography so attractive to a lot of people.
