Evening walk at Seaside Beach (South Cardiff State Beach) during low tide, to the Tabletop Reef tidepools.
Impressions from an evening walk at South Cardiff State Beach (Seaside State Beach) to the tide pools at Tabletop Reef. I call these frequent visits “inspections” because this is one of my go-to places for walks with Toni, and it’s always fascinating to see how these tide pools change over the seasons.
Impressions from a December walk at Seaside State Beach/South Cardiff State Beach to Tabletop Reef, during a winter low tide.
Black & white impressions from a morning visit to the rugged coastline at the tide pools area of Point Loma. It’s not easy to get good light at this location because the whole area is part of Cabrillo National Monument, which is only accessible from 9am to 4.30pm. Overcast days with a marine layer or storm are the most useful.
