It has become a solid tradition by now for me to compile a selection of my favorite photographs at the end of the year. This is thanks to Jim Goldstein’s ongoing “blog project” of course, but also based on the idea of having what The Online Photographer called a “ten-set” of photographs that would represent one’s photographic art easily and instantly.
Just like in previous years, I’ve compiled a collection of my favorite cellphone photos from 2017, in addition to my “normal” favorite photos from 2017. I still find making photos with the cellphone desirable, in particular to capture and preserve the occasional odd observation, detail or intimate scene. None of the photos was uploaded to the site specifically for this gallery, by the way – they’ve all been online already, anyway! :-)
It has become a bit of a tradition among photographers to review the year in December, and compile a gallery of one’s favorite images – in no small part thanks to Jim Goldstein’s blog project and his tireless efforts to collect all of these galleries into one enormous list that people can browse and enjoy. And as you may have guessed from the title of this blog post, I’ve compiled my own favorites from this year again too (you can find the galleries from previous years in the “Top 10 Archive“). Thanks for continuing to run your blog project, Jim!
