I liked the combination of the darker green of the moss, the light green of the lichen, and the gentle brown of the bark itself, and well as their different textures in this series.

These photos come in threes. Together, they’re more than just the sum of their parts.
Golden Reflections
Sunlit, bare twigs in early spring, reflecting in the peaty brown waters of Huckinger See in Austria. The exposure data for all three photos is the same – the only difference is the amount of wind that gently moved the water surface.
Last Colors of the Season (Triptych)
The last berries, overripe, are hanging on the bushes and shrubs, adding interesting splashes of color to nature’s autumn palette.
