In the last few months, and I probably mentioned this somewhere already, I’ve been diving in and out of my archives (going by year), giving them one last thorough review. Inevitably, a couple of images remained that I liked enough to make me wish for some context in which I’d show them but alas, no context was to be found. :P

Colmar: Churches & Gargoyles
During our vacation/family visit in Germany, we did a day-trip to Colmar, a charming little town in France, which lies just across the border to the west of Baden-Württemberg.

Convention Center
I was in the area of San Diego’s harbor/embarcadero one morning after taking a friend to the airport. I met with my friend Joseph once more, and we walked around with the cameras a little bit, ending up at the San Diego Convention Center. There was no major event going on, so the big hall was empty except for some tables and clerks passing through.
Majorca (Mallorca)
I visited Majorca (or Mallorca) twice in 2008, March and September, both times for a week of hiking with a group who were all hikers (and not photographers) that I had to catch up with whenever I stopped to make a photo. Not a chance to set up a tripod (I think I didn’t even bring it along), let alone wait for different light… ;)
Market in Sineu
On the “day off” of group hiking, we visited the weekly market in Sineu. The center of the town is teeming with activity as locals and tourists alike shop and sample all the wonderful things on display. I took some samples too, with my camera…
