The last photo from my Germany trip is from a morning walk at Wöhrsee, the lake that formed in an old arm of the Salzach river. I’ve taken numerous walks there while I lived in the city of Burghausen, and often with Toni, of course.
Wöhrsee
Foggy Morning at Wöhrsee
Five photos from an early morning walk with Toni at Burghausen’s Wöhrsee lake on a foggy summer morning.
Wöhrsee Spring Pastels
Photographic impressions from a morning walk at Wöhrsee, Burghausen’s city lake. A thin haze was wafting over the calm water and dissipated as temperatures rose, leaving a thin mist in the air that added a soft glowing touch to everything. I hope the images transport the mood.
November Morning Walk at Wöhrsee
Impressions from a November morning walk at Burghausen’s city lake, Wöhrsee. The lake is actually an old arm of the Salzach River that was left when the river changed its course.
Wöhrsee, December 1st
A few photographic impressions from a morning walk at Burghausen’s Wöhrsee. The lake is partly covered with a thin layer of ice, which makes for interesting reflections and abstractions. The trees are mostly bare, but some shrubs provide splashes of color. A gentle haze rises from the slopes as the morning sun warms the air.
